Shorty Size
Why don’t people understand the word “petite” when it comes to clothing sizes?
I have seen over and over where people believe that petite means small sizes, (i.e. 0-6), and that “petite women” are short and slim. However, fashion retailers tend to define “petite” as 5′4 or less. Period. Regardless of size. This means you can be a size 18 and still be petite.

Because people just don’t understand the use of the word, in fashion that is. I am 5′11, and people say “She’s a big girl!” Doesn’t mean I’m fat, it means I’m tall.
