Which boat should my family buy?

My family used to have a competition ski boat, but we eventually sold it to transfer over to bigger houseboats. Now that we’ve sold our SeaRay, we want to get back into boating but are taking a different direction and want to get another smaller boat and a lake home.

We’ve settled on wanting some type of Mastercraft, but we’re not quite sure which one to get. We all ski (me, my dad, my mom, and my two sisters) and we looove tubing. We also want to have friends down with us to spend the day on the lake.

So we need a boat that’s higher up on the size scale, great for skiing, tubing, and we want to learn how to wakesurf. I also have a friend who loves to wakeboard and he’d probably be coming down with us a lot and eventually show my family how.

So… which Mastercraft should we get?

well i dont know a ton about mastercrafts but as far as what you’re looking for,,,i’d go with a small block engine, a V6. not only are they decent on gas, they can pop a skiier out of the water quite easily (i ski off of a v6) and if the boat is in good shape it can go 45-50 mph depending on your prop and water conditions.
also open bow boats are good for families because there is plenty of room for people to sit. my open bow can seat 11 people comfortably and its a 21 footer.
so go simple, it’ll save you money and give you good fun.
